Apartments Martičić are located on a family estate in Podaca, famous for its clean sea, mild climate, beautiful beaches and a long tourist tradition. The distance from the sea and beach is only 10 meters, far away from the crowd and the main road, making this location a very interesting for families with small children. The beach is pebble with lots of natural shade that make pine trees. Behind the beach stretches a newly built 5-kilometer walkway ideal for evening walks and relaxation, but also for tourists who prefer more active holiday with a running, rolling and cycling. All 3 apartments have separate entrance, air conditioning and wireless internet access (WI-FI).

 Five parking spaces are insured within the property surrounding the house. On the newly built promenade there are restaurants Bonaca and Mendi which offer specialties such as grill sea food and various types of pizzas. A grocery store, bakery, a fruit and vegetable stand, and a post office are about 300 meters from the house. The geographical position of the apartment is suitable for one-day excursions to the nearby towns of Dubrovnik, Makarska, Međugorje, Split and the islands of Hvar and Korčula.

                                                        OLD VILLAGE PODACA

Welcome to the historic St. Ivan and St. Stipan churches, located in the old village of Podaca! St. Ivan church dates back to the 7th or 9th century, while St. Stipan church was built in the 11th century. Take a stroll to the churches from your nearby apartment in only 30 minutes, or drive in just 10 minutes. The churches are surrounded by an old cemetery and the belfry of St. Stipan. Visit the churches and take a step back in time. The Kula is an impressive old fortress located in a strategic location for defensive purposes. The entrance to the old village is marked by the impressive 17th century Venetian-Turkish style "TOWER" which still stands today. Inside the fortress, the walls are made of limestone and feature several bastions and a small chapel. Visitors can explore the ruins of the old settlement and enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside. The Kula is a unique site and is a must-visit for anyone interested in the history of the area.
